PaveTag™ GPS provides critical info on the status of your truck and paving operations through our eRoutes system.

The PaveTag GPS application tracks the location of trucks using competitively priced GPS and WiFi enabled tags.  By using WiFi as the means of sending data back to the eRoutes system there is no additional data fees.  Wireless Access Points at the Plant can be used to transfer position data from the tag back to eRoutes.  Pavers can be equipped with a GPS and Cellular enabled tag (with optional access point capability available) to record the paver movements.

 At the plant, the WiFi tag detects the access point and uploads stored data to eRoutes.   At the scale, we capture ticket data using eRoutes Gateway software to connect directly to existing databases (SQL, Paradox, etc.) used by Astec or Command Alkon systems.

Alternatively we have hardware based solutions to intercept ticket data between the ticket PC and printer through network, serial or parallel communications. Our PrintUp is one such device we use to capture ticket data.



 At the road machine, the WiFi tag detects the access point and uploads stored data to eRoutes.   Road construction machinery (paver, grader, excavator, cold planer, etc.) can be equipped with a PaveTag Cellular Routing Modem to transfer data as the truck arrives at the machine.  The PaveTag enclosure houses all of the necessary on-board electronics and antenna in a radome like enclosure which has WiFi, GPS and Cellular capabilities and will transmit the position data back to eRoutes using a cellular network.



Low to no infrastructure costs.   eRoutes easily track trucks between multiple supplier, customer and non-PaveTag equipped job sites with no additional hardware required at their locations.




Detailed timing analysis, reduces the need for paper driver logs, reduces the amount of time manually entering data into accounting systems like Viewpoint. Exportable data, provides time of arrival at the plant, time of loading, ticket number, material ID, truck ID, hauler ID, time of departure from the plant, arrival time at the job, time of departure from the job and round trip time back to the plant.




A mapping interface is included as part of PaveTag system and provides detailed information regarding the path taken for each equipped truck on the road. When combined with AcquiEx & AcquiLab the system provides total traceability from production to job site.
